About Panela Monitor

Innovaciones Alimentarias INNOVAL, a Venezuelan company created in 2000 to develop food innovations, introduced into the Venezuelan market in 2002 two products based on panela, a granulated flavored instant beverage mix and a range of ready-to-drink panela-based beverages. These initiatives were the result of a long standing interest in panela by some of the company founders. The Panela Monitor is a personal initiative of them to widely share the information and data accumulated through the years on this food.
